Elder Swindle In Africa

Hey so this week not much happened! We had Stake conference yesterday, awesome to see the rest of the zone and all the family members in Mamelodi again! There is not better feeling than to see all the wonderful members there and wisdom, Buhle and khusto too! No better feeling. So this week i went on exchanges with elder Dickson from Idaho and he interviewed sister Thandi and she passed her interview! Super excited for both her and her husband they will be a dream team without a doubt! This week we had great progress with brother sipho and zola they both have a great desire to learn! It was just a shame that no one was able to afford taxi fare to Pretoria so we have big hopes for this week! Hey Hey! This last week was awesome! We started it off with the best P-day know to this mission sense ever! So we drove down to mams early to meet up with the other district and we hiked up a mountain and drove golf balls off the top, over looking all of mams 1&2 super cool! Then the mabopane district met us in Pretoria and went PAINTBALLING!!! Pres. chad newly approved it and we had a blast!  Zone vs zone paintball battle does it get any cooler?? Then we had Zone leader training that night that lasted til late then we slept over and had MLC the following morning which was amazing as always. Then we spent the day getting supplys and then tuesday night we had our monthly meeting with the stake president. Then that Friday we had zone meeting. HECTIC AS CAN BE BUT WORTH IT!  Thandi is finished with the lessons so we are just reading the BoM together. Brother Lucky came to Church! And Fanele is back from Durban so we can atrat teaching him again. I had a interesting experience...

"Wow What week"- Probably the most heard phrase you hear from me but i mean it! This week has been very hectic, not just for me but the whole zone. This week there were riots alllll week through out all the townships surrounding Pretoria, a major was illegally elected into office and every one went ham after that! They burnt 18 buses in mamelodi and closed down all the major roads, including the N4, destroyed a whole mall and killed a few people.... so all the elders in the areas had to get ET'ed to other elders. so this week I was in a 3 some and so were the kwa-gua 1 and witbank elders. It was crazy but once we go pick them up from Pretoria and head up to kwa gua, we run into more roits blocking the whole main road, but this time for the lack of electricity. Africans must walk up every morning and have two options in their mind, LETS GO MAKE A RIOT or LETS GO CAUSE CHAOS FOR NO GOOD OF A REASON! haha half the reason i love Africa right there.
