August 8th- It's August already???

Hey Hey!
This last week was awesome! We started it off with the best P-day know to this mission sense ever! So we drove down to mams early to meet up with the other district and we hiked up a mountain and drove golf balls off the top, over looking all of mams 1&2 super cool! Then the mabopane district met us in Pretoria and went PAINTBALLING!!! Pres. chad newly approved it and we had a blast!  Zone vs zone paintball battle does it get any cooler?? Then we had Zone leader training that night that lasted til late then we slept over and had MLC the following morning which was amazing as always. Then we spent the day getting supplys and then tuesday night we had our monthly meeting with the stake president. Then that Friday we had zone meeting. HECTIC AS CAN BE BUT WORTH IT!  Thandi is finished with the lessons so we are just reading the BoM together. Brother Lucky came to Church! And Fanele is back from Durban so we can atrat teaching him again.

I had a interesting experience at zone meeting, i stayed up late the last few nights preparing for it and had everything ready to go, had a great discussion prepared, everything i needed. And when the time came to present it all, my tongue was locked in place i couldn't teach or present anything in which i wanted to, sure all the elders got the message and understood it but i knew right after the Lord had chastened me for relying on my own skills & strengths and not his, my pride had gotten the best of me and in result the Lord literally took away my talents and i was unable to do what I wanted to do or say. Made me think instantly about the first 18 or so chapters of nephi, how he and his family went to the wilderness and were commanded to do this and that. Repeatedly i noticed the Lord was constantly providing the means to their success but yet they would do the contrary. In result the Lord chastened them like a boss! Angles appeared, the voice of the Lord was heard several times, etc etc...The brother of jarod was chastened for 3 hours by the Lord too! But he did this in behalf of those who wronged them. Heb 12 tells us that "the Lord chasten those he loveth" I saw this in full effect this week and have now learned my lesson and will be more like Ammon in my fav scripture (alma 26;12). Truly we are all here becasue of his behalf so we need to pay him regards in ALL aspects of our lifes and we will be blessed!

Love you guys!
