Sept 12th- Another week flies by....

Well this week picked up quite a bit! First off we headed down to Pretoria to have correlation with the stake. Bro. Rako the stake presidents secretary headed down with us & after we picked up the mamelodi elders whos car broke down we all went out to eat! Good time, elder voyles offended the waitress- he asked for tap water and she brought him Tab(kinda like coke) So she must of shook up the sauce bottle because when elder Voyles opened it, it EXPLODED everywhere all over are white shirts....haha & brother rakos suit(after the picture was taken.) This week was great becasue we were able to see most of the people we wanted to, pretty big struggle on this side, But the highlight of the week was mapula's lesson! Most of the time she struggles to keep commitments like reading and is pretty distracted in the lessons but this week she read & felt the spirit so strong! We talked about Christ ministry in the restoration & both me and the comp were able to help her unde...

Aug 29th- THANDI WAS SO CLOSE!

So this week was lakker as always! Transfers were this week & Elder Williams and elder malemo are gone to Limpopo! But Elder Dickson is training a kiwi from new Zealand and elder gathercole from France is in Witbank! We have a great group of elders up here and we have the best of times doing the work together! So we had a great new beginning to a transfer planned on mine and Ndlovus end and it didn't turn out so great..... Thandi was supposed to be baptized this Sunday but there was no water!!! Imagine right? So we are hoping the water will be fixed this upcoming week cross your fingers! So last Friday we go to make all the arrangements, speakers, refreshments, invitations etc and we assumed that Fusico- Thandi's husband would be baptizing her but when we asked him- "NOPE NOPE GO AHEAD ELDERS, I'M NOT TOUCHING NO WATER!" so in the end its not only Thandi that terrified of water but her 6ft 5 tough guy husband!
