Sept 12th- Another week flies by....

Well this week picked up quite a bit! First off we headed down to Pretoria to have correlation with the stake. Bro. Rako the stake presidents secretary headed down with us & after we picked up the mamelodi elders whos car broke down we all went out to eat! Good time, elder voyles offended the waitress- he asked for tap water and she brought him Tab(kinda like coke) So she must of shook up the sauce bottle because when elder Voyles opened it, it EXPLODED everywhere all over are white shirts....haha & brother rakos suit(after the picture was taken.)

This week was great becasue we were able to see most of the people we wanted to, pretty big struggle on this side, But the highlight of the week was mapula's lesson! Most of the time she struggles to keep commitments like reading and is pretty distracted in the lessons but this week she read & felt the spirit so strong! We talked about Christ ministry in the restoration & both me and the comp were able to help her understand the love God has for us to give us the gospel through Jesus Christ. God has provided every resource we need to get back to him- primarily centered on his atonement. We knew the spirit touched her heart and she couldnt deny it. Even better was seeing her come to church with her super cute baby the relief society president! Awesome! I felt so blessed to see fanele( on date fo OCT 30th) Jr+comfort, and thandi all at church! Huge blessing and great way to end the week. I love this scripture: 1 nephi 17

And it came to pass that we did again take our journey in the wilderness; and we did travel nearly eastward from that time forth. And we did travel and wade through much affliction in the wilderness; and our women did bear children in the wilderness.
And so great were the blessings of the Lord upon us, that while we did live upon raw meat in the wilderness, our women did give plenty of suck for their children, and were strong, yea, even like unto the men; and they began to bear their journeyings without murmurings.
And thus we see that the commandments of God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God he doth nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them; wherefore, he did provide means for us while we did sojourn in the wilderness.
And we did sojourn for the space of many years, yea, even eight years in the wilderness.
I testify the Lord does ALWAYS does NOURISH US, STRENGTHEN US, and PROVIDES THE MEANS in each of our lives. He is always given us everything we need to get back to him one day. All we must do on our part is Have the zeal & diligence to do his will and it will all be given to us. Never forget the blessings and tender merices hes given us!
I Love you guys have a great week!
