Truly the first thing i have learned on a
mission is that my family is my most prized possession! But this week has been great, we started it off
traveling to Botswana and went up to Francis town to go on exchanges with
Elder Cole and Elder Rantikia and they are both great!! They are great
missionaries that work their butts off. They are 2 of the 4 elders in all
of Botswana so they have a great responsibility on each of their
heads!! But after the 14 hour drive there and back we finally were able
to get back into our normal pace and get to work! I think that Mof-town
is the coolest still. This week Elder Lawson is getting a AP companion
from the new area we received into our mission, he is very thankful to
get a new comp because he has to do call ins moring and night. But that
means that me and Elder Autry will be comps and we can have a normal
companionship finally. It was good having three elders in one place but
it was sometimes difficult with so many people in a discussion expecially
with other members present.
This week i will be brief so i can send more pictures!!
We
played basketball and OHHHH MAAANNNN......Dad do you want to know where
street ball originated from in Chicago?? Do you know were the term
street ball came from??? These guys are absolutely crazy ballers. They are
all as quick as you name it in the NBA and they don't know that a foul
is AT ALL. I got tackled, stiff armed and sandwiched and left with more
bruises than i could hope to count. But it was still great :)
The {C} family finally had her twins and it was funny because both of
them wanted a boy for both the mother and the father. But they are
healthy and cute as can be. We went into a room with four other women
who had just given birth and visited her and gave her a blessing. It
honestly makes you think about the plan of happiness when you see new
born because they were just hours away from the spirit world. Crazy to
think. It got me pretty excited to one day have a family of my own! Well
the investigator {T} i was talking about last week.....oh man all i
can say that due to..... Voodo and murder i don't think he is progressing
towards his baptismal date....!! Just about the scariest lesson of my
life, definitely a "lesson" that will go in my book!! :0 Due to my mother
reading this i will not go into details! But over all it was a great
week, Glad to be back home in sweet home Mofikeng.
But pictures tell their stories of their own so i hope you enjoy them!
I love you all and pray for all of you every day.

What a incredible week! I dont think ive ever been more busy my whole mission compared to this week! So to explain first before i explain about the details, we prayed Sunday night for a "PERFECT WEEK" i guess we didnt really know exactly what we meant but we prayed for it. It all started off on Tuesday, We had a awesome zone service in the Montana elders area, we did so much manual labor i but my back out probably for the rest of my mission. None the less it was a great opportunity for zone unity and we had a blast. After which we where able to able to see everyone we had scheduled for, including sister Maleka and her family, we felt inspired to bring a sister and her husband from the group teaching with us and we had a wonderful discussion about eternal marriage and temples. We Were finally able to have a productive lesson with sister jackquine(less-active) were she was able to feel the spirit. Wednesday we watched the world wide missionary broadcast. Yes we ...
Good morning over there! Yeah so the new house is sweet, its pretty roomy for both of us. We are getting so much more work done now its incredible. We found a ton of new investigators last week and this week and we have been able to see most of them. Lots of cool story's. First we broke our record for investigator lessons taught in a week sense we opened the area! And we decided to track down as many of the former investigators as we could and we found Maria and pindilea who are wonderfully prepared, they had a brother who was takin the lessons and was going to be baptized but the missionary's were taken out of the area and their brother bongoni passed away. It was crazy when they showed us his BOM that he would study out of and the old pamphlets. Besides that we found a lot of father led family's and they all look promising. We are a happy bunch and should have sister mathodi baptized on the 29th. She is awesome, every time she blows me away with signs of a c...
