Week 3- Chicken feet and First discussions

Delmua!!!
Like i say every week, what a week!! The last couple of weeks have been stressful and completely different from anything i could have ever imagined, but this week has been much better and i am feeling much better and am pushing the stress to the side and am focusing on my responsibility and the work at hand!! I have had to learn how to drive all over again and i can happily say i can drive like a 15 year old now!! They drive on the left side of the road and we drive a manual boki, and to make everything better everyone drives like they out for blood, and the endless amount of goats and cows that run everywhere!! But it has been great. The fundamentals of the language are finally coming and people are more open when you can speak even just a little setswana to them! And the food just keeps getting better and better!! Me and my companions eat TONS of meat and a large part of it is stuffed goat intestines and pap. Its amazing and at the G families i got to eat chicken feet for the first time, it was as good as it sounds AMAZING! They said "elder Swinlbra want to try some chicken feet?" ya sure, which one? "The one pointing at you!!" Almost threw up on their brand new couch but it's fine.
They call me Elder Swindlaba because swindle sounds like its Zulu and they say i look like i am from Europe and there is not a chance i am from America. They are very funny people. Everything is based off humor. And a lot of it.... But this week we taught a new investigator for the second time about lesson 1. His name is {T} and he is actually educated and has some what of a bit of money, and we taught him and compared the restoration to soccer and he was catching everything and it was great, but he lives right next to a bar and suddenly the bar just blasts it music, but the amazing thing was it didn't even matter, the spirit was so incredibly strong that he bounced off the couch and said elder Swindlbra say a prayer for us now!!! and we put him on date for baptism and he said he would do anything in the whole wide world to be baptised, which was much of a shock because he smokes and is a very busy business man. But by far the most incredible lesson or presence of the spirit i have ever felt. It almost knocked the poor guy over. And later we found out that he had the book of Mormon for years but never knew what it was. He said i have been waiting for this my whole life, something was missing. But i now lead the discussions for lesson one now as part of my training.
So to our great surprise our mission has been made larger and we got half of the Joberg mission, but only 36 missionaries and 4 couples!!! Super cool considering that we only have 11 missionaries left and many are leaving soon!! Elder Lawson is finally getting a new companion that will help him so he does not go mentally crazy from call ins. He is the funnest guy you can meet and is the most incredible missionary i have ever met! So this week when elder Lawson gets a companion from the new area, Elder Autry will hopefully be my companion and i will probably be his last before he leaves in DEC. He is a big wrestler that likes to wrestle elder Lawson to the point of being called a monkey. They are both great and powerful teachers, we have oh so much fun but we will work our butts off. Love you all and miss all of you more than you could ever imagine :) i pray for all of you! Give Steeler a wet slobbery kiss for me!
