Week 23- "The Craziest Week of My Mission By Far!"
Its December already??
Well you could easily say that this week has been the craziest week of my mission by far! So much has happened, so much traveling it was quite unreal. Literally this whole week was spent driving to Poloqani and to Pretoria! So this week our flat got broken into and they took all my allotment money for the month!(looks like im going to be eating rice for another month haha) Honestly not the greatest feeling when you know you've been robbed twice from the same drawer in my desk. We found that it was a member sadly, and to keep the story short, Elder hunt got transferred early and i have a new companion! His name is Elder Thusi from Durban SA, first African comp, super humble guy and the future looks bright for us! We are excited to start working in the area after so long! We were finally able to get into the area yesterday and was almost overwhelmed with the work we put on pause! But yesterday was probably the best Sunday we of the Lenyenye Branch have ever had! We had an amazing fast and testimony meeting yesterday the spirit was so strong but the best part was to see so many less actives and recent converts come to church!!! I couldn't contain myself after seeing brother frank and his family come to church(has to save all the money he has to get a personal taxi to pick him up because hes only got one leg) and many other less actives and to see the spirit make a impact on them. Even due to the low amount of people (about 35) to my great joy the whole hour was packed with heart felt testimonies, i was so happy when i went up on the stand a bared my testimony i couldn't keep it together to be honest! Amazing meeting will be hard to forget. We might be a small struggling branch in the middle of nowhere but the gospel is still the same and the spirit is felt. So this week also is crazy because 3 Elders are leaving the area, Elder richards is going home, Williams is going to namibia and Deiogo is going to the capital. So that means its just going to be us 4 Elders covering 4 areas for the whole district! We will be covering the village of majaji now with Lenyenye. The other companionship will be covering tzaneen and motupa while training a new greenie! I got called as the new district leader so things should definitely be interesting! At least we have the Campbells to keep us company! So not much news with investigators this week because we have been traveling all this week. Very very excited to skype the family in a few weeks! Crazy week but the work continues! Love you all so very much!
