Week 27- It's 2016!
HAPPY
2016!!!
Wow i can hardly believe it is 2016 it is blowing my mind! But either way i am very excited for this upcoming year and all the things i will see and do. I will be honest it was weird, i was setting goals for this next year and all of them were mission related, what a blessing and honor it is that i have a whole brand new year ahead of me to preach the gospel! I know that so much will be accomplished this year and am excited to WORK! So this last week was pretty much identical to last week, we had an early curfew again and yet again mass amounts of food at the campbells! This week we saw as many people as we possibly could on tuesday and wendsday and then spent the rest of the holidays with our zone up in petersburg and had a nice braai! This time of the year has been great fun but i am ready to get back into the regular routine and have a REAL week! This week we were finally able to meet up with our investigator symoucoius and his wife which are probably the most busy people in all of Lenyenye, we had a great discussion about the godhead. We have seen them over 10 times but we were never able to find a real time to meet with them but it has allowed us to have a incredible relationship and trust thus far and they are already reading the book of Mormon and the pamphlets we give them, a amazing father lead family that WILL be baptized they are so prepared! Also this week we met up with our brother Chris and finally was able to put him on date for baptism on Feburary 28th, he has been coming to church for 4 months and he is so excited to do what he knows is right. We had a lesson with a recent convert about repentance and we brought Chris with us because hes says he already wants to be a missionary and as we were talking Chris bore his testimony and said that before we started teaching him, he and his friends would drink and he felt like he was slowly falling but once we started teaching him he stopped. I was like wow this 14 year old boy is much stronger than i ever could of been at that age. Love Chris! So me and the comp are expected to both be training this next transfer so we are great ready/ stoked! This week was simply incredible at Church! We had so many less actives come to church we almost had 80 people in Lenyenye side! (yes new resolutions) But the testimonioes that were shared by those that haven't been for years was totally laka. Today we went to krugar national park with the zone and the senior couple! Super awesome we almost saw all of the big 5 except for the cats great time. We left at 4 in the morning so i am honestly very tired right now. I hope that this next year we can all progress and make a better sense for life and that we will all draw closer to the gospel! What a great chance we all have before us to make a change for the better in our lives. Let it be a year that we can look back upon with full confidence that we did our best. The lord is always waiting with his extended hand to change us and mold us into what our heavenly father wants us to be. Love you all!
