Week 18- 110% Samoan Comp
Happy Halloween!!
Crazy week!! This week so much has happened i would hardly have time to tell you all about it! But mainly transfers happened and Elder Stomps went to momaliodi and will finish the rest of his mission there. And my new comps name is Elder Hunt!! He is 110% somoan and man hes a laka guy!! Hes been out for about a year now and this is only his second area! Though we have only been together for a couple days we have had a great time and man have we got some work done already! Interesting facts about my new comp: he sleeps with a GIANT blue teddy bear named Moses haha and he has enough energy to power all of limpopo haha But hes a great guy his English is very limited and the only thing he can do during a lesson is bear his testimony and laugh and laugh! Super funny guy. It is different now that i teach most of the lesson by myself but Elder hunt can ALWAYS back up what i said with his testimony, an its powerful! Your testimony is something that no one on earth can argue or try to change, and is very influential! So much can learned from simple truths as hyrum Smith once said and its so true! The most basic of doctrine can bear witness to every persons soul, in conference it was said that this gospel is so simple a child could grasp it and its true! I am thankful for the simple yet powerful companion i have! Yesterday was a very special day, fast sunday!! I was a incredible testimony meeting and so many people beared their testimonys! But the greatest blessing i received was so many of the less actives we have been working with came to church and its incredible to see their reactivation towards the gospel, they already knew the truth they just had to re kindle it. A less active sis.maggie that live on top of a mountain works 7-7 every day in a tuck shop and finally got the day off and bore her testimony about her returning son from a mission. It was amazing and definitely my holy ghost moment for the day! We have so much work to do here in Lenyenye it is overwhelming, we have so many less actives to see and lately we have been blessed with tons of new investigators, one of which approached us and told us wanted to be baptized, we have been blessed with so much work its awesome and the feeling of retiring to the flat each night exhausted is so nice! I wish we could have another pair of elders come and help us but we will manage it!:) The work is good and it will all pay off. We have been so many chances in life, some positive and also some negative but always look at them as a opportunity and chance to better your self and above all glorify your father in heaven.
I love you all and hope you all had a great week!
