Week 19- The Power of a Testimony
Hey! Hey!
Awesome week! Me and elder Hunt have been pumping a lot of lessons out this week and we have been able to get in contact with a lot of people that haven't been seen for awhile. The spirit has been strongly involved with assisting us with the work this week and people are learning and acting- missionary's greatest pay off! This week we met with a investigator that is married to a RM and we taught her the plan of happiness and she was touched deeply and was so happy to know this amazing plan set before us! At the end of the lesson she said she said that she honestly never prayed because she didn't think there was life after death and she said she could now pray with meaning! and true intent! We committed her to baptism and she came to church the following day! Awesome! We also got the chance to teach some less actives that live wayyyy out there in place called sunnyside and we taught them the same lesson, and they said that they have never been taught it before and the former missionaries just gave them the pamphlet! So when we taught them we found out that she had never heard of the story of Adam and Eve so that consisted of most of are lesson and they are excited for us to come back so we cant teach the rest. I have been getting a lot of practice teaching lessons because the only thing my comp can do is bear his testimony, but what a blessing it is! His testimony is so divine and touches EVERY person's heart he shares it with, it has strengthened mine as well so much! I have learned so much from something that could be looked over so easily. We also finally got to watch another session of conference and the spirit was very strong and it was so nice to hear from the inspired men that lead this church! Once conference was over i looked over at my comp and my neck was instantly painful and i realized i didnt move the entire time! But this week was laka as could be and Africa is just about as cool as it gets, i know i live here every day and its always sometimes the same old same old but this place is sweet as can be! Love you all and know that it is about 110 degrees right now:)
